AI DISCLAIMER

Mentis Mundi Does Not Accept "AI Art"

We're only interested in human expression and craft.

Absolutely NO works created with or assited by "AI" tools will be accepted.

Any piece suspected of being "AI" generated, or containing "AI" generated components, will be rejected outright. Multiple submissions could result in a permanent ban.

Any accepted art piece found to be "AI" generated, or containing "AI" generated components, will be permanently removed and its submitter banned.

What We're Looking For

Well made works of art, sized for easy online display, inspired by or depicting some facet of the Mentis Mundi setting.

We're especially looking for:

  • Scenes of everyday life
  • Scenes from historic moments
  • Portraits of characters, both original and from Mentis Mundi stories
  • Depictions of specific locations, architecture, or environments
  • Technical illustrations of technology.
  • Graphics or logos of in-world entities
  • Comics of any kind and any genre

What We're Weary Of

Pieces that we may still accept, but are a much harder sell include:

  • Pieces that mostly serve as a hyper niche in-joke
  • Pieces that take place in a personal Alternate Universe

What We're Not Looking For

Pieces that we will likely not accept include:

  • Pieces that are not in some way identifiable as depicting an aspect of the Mentis Mundi setting
  • Artwork that is identical to, or very nearly identical to, other pieces of published Mentis Mundi art
  • Pieces with gratuitous gore
  • Pieces with gratuitous sexual violence, child, or animal abuse
  • Pieces with hateful or non-inclusive messaging

What Happens When Your Art is Published

When an artwork is published on the site, it is considered an interpretation of the setting's "canon." This means other people may use aspects of your piece — designs, logos, interpretations — for their art, while others may do something completely different with the same subject.

Some art pieces may effect changes to the world section of the site, reflecting the evolving state of the setting.
